Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 offers outstanding performance at both low and very high operating temperatures and protects the engine from wear, sludge formation and deposits. Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 is used in particular in Mercedes-Benz vehicles (which require MB 229.31 or 229.51 approved products), in BMW vehicles (the Longlife Oil 04) and in Volkswagen vehicles (the VW 502 00/505 00 approved products require) recommended. Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 can also be used in Volkswagen TDI direct injection diesel engines (oil change intervals: 15000 km / 1 year) that require VW 505 01 approval and in Ford Galaxy 1.9L turbodiesel vehicles that have a VW 505 01 or require a Ford WSS-M2C917-A approval. Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 is approved for a General Motors Dexos 2 ™ service fill, which is required for all new 2010 GM / Opel / Vauxhall / Chevrolet diesel and gasoline models. According to GM / Opel, Dexos 2 specifications are backwards compatible with older GM / Opel specifications (GM-LL-A-025 and GM-B-LL-025).
