Castrol Magnatec Professional E 5W-20 has been developed in partnership with Ford for use in the latest petrol engine technology, according to the specification WSS M2C948-B.

A new oil specification WSS M2C948-B for viscosity grade 5W-20 has been released for gasoline engines (except for Ford KA, Focus ST and Focus RS). However, it is for 1.0 3 cylinder EcoBoost engines necessarily use and fully compatible with older versions. Ford recommends dringenst to use it for all engines, currently for the oils of the specification WSS M2C913-B, WSS M2C913-C or WSS M2C925-B are prescribed.

The new engine oil has been specially developed for the Ford EcoBoost engines and enables significant fuel savings, while at the same time satisfies the wear resistance requirements of WSS M2C913-C and surpasses it in certain aspects.
