LIQUI MOLY 6146 Liquimate 8100 1K-PUR car body sealant

High-quality 1-component PUR adhesive/sealant for permanently elastic bonding. OEM quality. Can also be painted over with 2K paints. Stable. Brushable and trowelable. Can be painted over with primers and fillers after curing.

Used in vehicle repairs for sealing, among other things. For visible seams and normal seams.

Application

External seams should always be painted over (compatibility must be checked in preliminary tests). Temporary fixing with adhesive tape or spacers should be used until the adhesive/sealant has cured completely. Liquimate 8100 1K-PUR offers the great advantage that one material can be used for both bonding and sealing. Liquimate 8100 1K-PUR is not or only partially suitable for structural bonding. 

Processing instructions for adhesive sealants

In principle, the material can be painted over after the skin formation time.

- The product should not be processed at temperatures below 10 °C.

- If the processing temperature is between 10 °C and 15 °C, the drying time is approx. 2-3 hours.

- The optimum processing temperature is between 15 °C and 25 °C.

For safety reasons, check whether the skin has already formed before overcoating! 

As the sealing materials are not yet completely dry after the skin formation time, the vehicle should be parked in a room at temperatures above 15 °C for at least 24 hours after sealing if the outside temperature is below 10 °C.

You can remove your used oil (combustion engine oils, gear oils, oil filters and oil-containing waste that regularly occurs during oil changes) in the amount of fresh oil bought from us free of charge at our point of sale during operating hours: Return Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or at your own expense in packaging approved for the transport of dangerous goods to:

Send for free disposal. Any transport costs incurred are at the expense of the buyer. Please note the transport regulations of the shipping company, since waste oil is dangerous. If you change the oil, we recommend that you dispose of the used oil at the appropriate collection points in your place of residence
