Castrol Aircol CM 68 20 Liter

The products of the Castrol Aircol CM series are high-performance compressor oils and are based on highly refined mineral oils and special additives that improve the excellent thermal and oxidative aging stability and the good load carrying capacity. Application The Castrol Aircol CM series is formulated without ash-forming additives and is used to lubricate screw and reciprocating compressors. Castrol Aircol CM is classified according to ISO 6743-3 as follows: Compressor oil DAA and DAB for oil-free reciprocating and rotary piston compressors Compressor oil DAG and DAH for oil-lubricated rotary screw compressors Castrol Aircol CM compressor oils have a low tendency to form deposits and meet the requirements of DIN 51506 Type VDL for reciprocating compressors with compression temperatures of up to 220°C. With oil-flooded and oil-injected compressors, the compression temperatures are up to 90ºC. The range has been developed to meet drain intervals of up to 4000 hrs. The oil change interval specified by the manufacturer should be observed for units that are not in constant use or units that are in constant use with a compression temperature above 90ºC. The high load-carrying capacity (FZG value of >12) also offers the possibility of use in compressor units with gears. The selection of the correct viscosity should be based on the specifications of the compressor manufacturer. The following can be used as a guide: Castrol Aircol CM 32 and Castrol Aircol CM 46 can be used in oil-flooded rotary compressors, while Castrol Aircol CM 68, Castrol Aircol CM 100 and Castrol Aircol CM 150 can be used to lubricate the crankshaft and cylinders in reciprocating compressors. Castrol Aircol CM 150 can also be used in vane compressors or for reciprocating compressors at high ambient temperatures. The Castrol Aircol CM range is fully miscible and compatible with the Castrol Aircol PD and Castrol Aircol MR ranges. Reliable corrosion protection even in damp environmental conditions. The good thermal stability, low volatility and low tendency to form deposits reduce the risk of fire and explosion and lead to a longer service life (of up to 4000Bh). Low tendency to form deposits extends the oil change intervals, the service life of the air filter and thus reduces maintenance costs.
