MOTUL 8100 X-POWER is a high-performance engine oil with full SAPS technology, specially developed for modern high-performance engines, used in series vehicles with racing technology, where the manufacturer prescribes an engine oil according to ACEA A3 / B4 or API: SN in the viscosity 10W-60. SPECIFICATIONS / STANDARDS STANDARDS: API service category SN / CF (backwards compatible to API SJ, SL, SM) ACEA A3 / B4 API SN, compared to API: SM, places even higher demands on the engine oil with regard to aging resistance, viscosity stability, fuel savings, engine cleanliness, Compatibility with exhaust gas after-treatment systems and with flexible maintenance intervals. Valid since 2010. ACEA B4 requires outstanding cleaning and dispersion properties as well as increased resistance to oil thickening due to soot particles, especially for direct injection diesel engines (including common rail diesel) - except PD diesel (MOTUL Specific 505 01- 502 00 - 505 00 5W- 40 or 8100 X-clean 5W40). Different vehicle manufacturers such as BMW (old M models), AUDI R8 5.2 GT, NISSAN, FIAT, ALFA ROMEO, LANCIA, ASTON MARTIN, TVR; JAGUAR, MASERATI, BUGATTI, FERARRI V12 recommend an engine oil with a viscosity of 10W60 in combination with ACEA A3 / B4 or API: SN in the factory-tuned series vehicles for perfect wear protection and optimal performance of the engines. The formulation for MOTUL 8100 X-POWER 10W60 is an optimal compromise in terms of reducing friction losses (additional performance or reduced fuel consumption) and reliable wear protection combined with a high HTHS viscosity. ADVANTAGES Fast oiling. The oil can be pumped through the entire lubrication circuit even faster in the wear-intensive cold start phase. Prevents the oil from thickening even under high thermal loads and is particularly resistant to aging. Minimal tendency to evaporate, resulting in low oil consumption. High HTHS viscosity and high shear stability guarantee stable oil pressure under all operating conditions and reliably protect the engine from wear. High alkaline reserve (TBN) neutralizes long-lasting acid residues that enter the oil circuit through combustion and reliably protects the engine against corrosive wear.
